BUSINESS COACHING FAQS

Questions business owners ask
before hiring a coach.

What does a business coach actually help an established owner do?

A business coach helps you identify what's holding your business back, make better decisions, and turn your plans into action. My focus is on helping you improve profitability, strengthen your team, build better systems, and create a business that doesn't depend on you for every decision.

How do I know if business coaching is right for me?

If your business is growing but you're still involved in too many daily decisions, coaching may be worth exploring. I primarily work with established service-business owners who want stronger profits, more accountable teams, and greater freedom from day-to-day operations.

How is business coaching different from consulting, training, or a peer group?

A consultant typically helps solve a specific business problem. Training develops particular skills, while peer groups offer ideas and perspectives from other business owners.

Business coaching focuses on helping you and your team put those ideas into action. We work on your priorities, strengthen leadership and systems, and establish accountability so improvements become part of how your business operates.

How much time does business coaching require?

The real value of coaching comes from setting aside time to work on your business instead of always working in your business. You'll be working on your 90 day plan, implementing improvements, and building a stronger business.

We typically meet every other week to review your progress, answer questions, work through challenges, and hold you accountable for following through on your commitments. The goal isn't to add more work to your schedule. It's to help you focus your time on what will make the biggest difference.

What happens during a business coaching session?

Every coaching session focuses on your business and the progress you're making toward your goals. We'll review your 90-day plan, look at your key numbers, work through current challenges, and identify what needs your attention.

Depending on your priorities, we might focus on profitability, team accountability, leadership, systems, or freeing up your time. You'll leave with clear next actions, decisions to make, and accountability for following through before our next session.

How much does business coaching cost?

The investment depends on your business needs and the level of support you're looking for. I offer ongoing coaching, strategic planning, and focused development programs. We'll discuss the options and costs so you can decide what makes sense for your business before making a commitment.
